Every class is governed by the rules and specifications set by the current USEF, VHSA, and BHSA ground rules.

Proof of a negative Coggins test, taken within 1 year, is required of all horses and ponies on the show grounds. For each show, bring a photocopy of your Coggins test results to leave with the secretary (this will save you the trouble of filling out forms at each show).

VHSA and BHSA membership forms are available from the secretary. New members must join before showing for points to count.

All entry forms must be completed and signed. For juniors, a parent, guardian, or trainer must sign.

An open check or payment is required to receive numbers.

The judge's decision is final.

Hard hats must be worn when mounted. ALL RIDERS must wear ASTM/SEI approved helmets.

Proper attire and tack required. In extreme heat, coats may be excused at the judge's discretion.

Age of Junior riders is defined as rider's age on December 1, 2006.

Six ribbons will be awarded in each class. Champion and Reserve ribbons will be awarded in each division that has 3 classes.

Points for all classes are recorded in two ways: (1) Points reported to VHSA are 5, 3, 2, 1; champion 10, reserve 6. (2) Points recorded for OVF year-end awards are 10, 6, 4, 2, 1, 1/2; champion 20, reserve 12.

NO DOGS or FOALS (honest) allowed on the grounds.

All guests and exhibitors will be held responsible for any damages they cause to show grounds and property.

Fee for returned checks: $30.00

In the event of rain, call for cancellation information (540-832-2300) .

Unjudged rounds will be permitted at $15 per trip.

Divisions may be combined, split, or cancelled at the discretion of management.

All classes must have at least 3 entrants for points to count. Adult/Children's Hunter and Adult/Junior Pleasure divisions will be split if we have at least 6 entrants for each division.

Schooling may be done from Noon to 4:30 PM on the Friday before each show . The fee is $30.00.

Should any question or dispute arise that is not addressed in the foregoing rules, the same shall be submitted to the show management, whose decision is final.

To add a class or division after registering, you must get an add slip from the secretary and present it to the announcer.
